Royal Horse guards today consist of the "Blues" & "Royals". They stand guard at Whitehall, formally the Headquarters of the British Army. The Guardsman in this image is from the "Blues" as you can tell from the color of his tunic. I remember as a child when we went to London I always wanted to see the Horse Guards at Whitehall. This is a very popular tourist spot and the day I took this I had to worm my way in to get a tight shot. The spit & Polish of these soldiers equipment is first rate.
